Training videos for the Sony Alpha 7 system with Manuel Quarta updated – digitalkamera.de

Now with videos on new features and sensor cleaning

12.09.2024 We have now published updated versions of the training video on the cameras in the Sony Alpha 7 series that was originally produced in 2021 with the photo trainer Manuel Quarta. Three new videos provide half an hour of additional playing time. A completely new feature is a comparison between the new and old Sony menu. The new functions for subject recognition are covered in detail and in an extra video the photo trainer shows how you can professionally clean the camera sensor yourself. (Jan-Markus Rupprecht)

The updated training video with Manuel Quarta is all about the Alpha 7 models from the Sony camera system. The extensive video tutorial with a total running time of almost 4.5 hours now includes 27 individual videos and we have divided it into three parts, each with a running time of around 1.5 hours, which can be purchased individually for €14.90 each, or together as a package for €39.90.

The first part is primarily about the basics and the initial configuration of the cameras. This includes adjusting the Fn menu and programming the buttons, including recommendations from the trainer. Part 2 is about how to get the perfect results with the Sony Alpha camera, as well as optimal exposure, the perfect focus and the desired colors and contrasts. Part 3 goes into even more detail. Autofocus fine adjustments for subject recognition, for example, or useful functions for photos and videos are the topics. Further adjustments through user settings or the My menu are also the topic of Part 3, as well as an extra video on sensor cleaning.

We have of course also moved the updated training videos to our new playback platform. To use the videos, you don’t need an app and you don’t even need a digitalkamera.de user account. To access the videos, simply click on the link in the email that you receive within about 5 minutes of purchase. You don’t even need to enter an access code, as all the login information is already included in the link.

On the workshop page, you can get a quick overview of all the workshop videos using thumbnails and a table of contents, and you can watch the videos directly on the respective detail pages. The last playback position is saved so that you can continue at the same point at any time. You can also download each individual video in its original quality from the respective detail page, for example if you want to watch it later without an internet connection. For an additional charge of 10 euros plus postage, we can also send the videos by post on a USB stick if required.

We wrote to all customers who bought the smaller versions of the videos. They received a very attractive offer to upgrade to the current version.
