Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin just spent their date night at the 2024 MTV VMAs!

On September 11, the couple arrived at the UBS Arena in New York for the star-studded show and, as always, made sure to bring their coordinated style to the stage.

Both the 40-year-old “Wranglers” singer and her husband decided to appear as twins in elegant black suits – but with one special feature.

Lambert opted for a fitted jacket with a wide paisley collar that revealed her turquoise bra underneath. She also wore a matching necklace by Lagos Jewelry that drew attention to her cleavage-revealing moment.

For a glamorous look, the country star opted for her typical smoky eyeshadow, glossy nude lips and loose beach waves.

McLoughlin dressed in an all-black ensemble by Tom Ford and, like his wife, showed a hint of skin by leaving the buttons of his silk shirt undone and wore a monochrome watch.

Lambert couldn’t wait for her fans to see her husband in his look, as just hours before her performance, she shared a video on her Instagram stories of him “dressing up” in what looked like a Tom Ford store.

The couple has been rocking coordinated glam outfits since their red carpet debut at the 2019 ACM Awards, three months after they married in Nashville in January of that year. For their big moment as newlyweds, Lambert wore a neon green halter dress, while McLoughlin wore a traditional suit.

Their most recent appearance was at the 2024 ACM Awards in May, where they wore, you guessed it, black outfits.

Lambert and McLoughlin met when he was working as a security guard at Good morning America and in her 2022 cover story for PEOPLE, she talked about their strong bond.

“I want to be open about how happy we are,” Lambert told PEOPLE at the time. “I just don’t give a f*** what people think of me, my marriage, my music or anything else. All I care about is me being myself. He’s thrown himself right into this lifestyle – it’s a learning curve that takes a New Yorker right into the woods – but it’s been a lot of fun. It’s nice to have a partner in that, someone by your side who supports you, loves you and believes in you. He loves me for being me. It’s really cool to have him in my life, at this point in my life.”
