Industry Intouch: 36 companies in southern Thuringia open their factory gates to visitors – Ilmenau

36 regional industrial companies from the Ilm district, Hildburghausen, Schmalkalden-Meiningen and Sonneberg will open their factory gates to Industrie Intouch again on October 24th. 15 companies are taking part for the first time, according to the Southern Thuringia Chamber of Industry and Commerce. School and university graduates, applicants for a training position or internship, skilled workers, job seekers, commuters and general interested parties will receive exclusive and authentic insights, can actively participate, learn about processes and exchange ideas with employees, department heads, HR managers and managing directors on site. 23 companies have registered for the special “trainee tour”. According to the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, this is particularly exciting for schoolchildren and those starting out in their careers. Trainees lead the future trainees through the factory halls. From planning to production, the students receive exclusive insights into the workflows and processes of the industrial companies. In keeping with the motto “From trainees for trainees”, the content is prepared especially for teenagers and young adults and presented by the trainees. Application documents can also be brought along on the day of the event and handed over to the HR manager.
