The Wyatt Sicks defeat American Made

WWE Raw began with a WrestleMania-level video package on the rivalry between Wyatt Sicks and American Made, making it seem as though the two had been feuding for years.

Fans continue to support Wyatt Sicks, especially when Erick Rowan showed off his monster gimmick and rose from the ashes of a tabletop spot.

Rowan continued to rage, tearing down a piece of the barricade and using it as a weapon against American Made.

Nikki Cross performed an excellent German Suplex on Chad Gable, who had to take a super-athletic push.

I thought this might be the night American Made finally won, but Uncle Howdy interfered and gave the babyfaces an unfair 4-on-3 advantage. But there are no rules in a street fight and the Wyatt Sicks remain very popular.

Wyatt Sicks vs. American Made Grade: B+

Finn Balor challenges Damian Priest

Finn Balor was getting eyeballed by these Canadians, but didn’t seem nervous at all.

Finn Balor challenged Damian Priest and lured Priest into a trap. Priest Gold Balor wrote the Judgment Day playbook and fought off the heels. Rhea Ripley (and her crutches) rushed to the ring for backup, but The Judgment Day ultimately won the power play and laid the Terror Twins to rest.

Judgement Day – Terror Twins Grade: B

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeat Unholy Union

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have shown great power spots that have Calgary excited. Joe Tessitore continues to showcase great talents by praising the strength, power and development of the tag team champions.

For a match with such a predictable outcome, fans were eager to see Jade and Bianca run through the Unholy Union.

Backstage, Belair and Cargill were confronted by Damage CTRL.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Grade: B

Bret Hart returns to WWE Raw

Bret Hart returned to loud cheers and the fans sang along as Bret said he was the best there is, the best there ever was, and the best there ever will be.

GUNTHER interrupted Bret Hart and presented the legend as the best there is Was, but he insisted that GUNTHER is the best there is and ever will be. GUNTHER further stated that Goldberg is his absolute favorite.

Fellow Canadian Sami Zayn rushed to Hart’s aid and again challenged GUNTHER to a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. GUNTHER again declined and Bret Hart called GUNTHER a “yellow coward”.

GUNTHER and Sami Zayn brawled outside, with Zayn defeating GUNTHER. Zayn vs. GUNTHER at Survivor Series in Vancouver, Canada is almost as inevitable as GUNTHER defending his title against Zayn.

Grade for Bret Hart’s return segment: B+

Dominik Mysterio defeats Dragon Lee

Tessitore noted that Calgary was once voted the cleanest city in the world, but that ranking dropped as soon as Dirty Dominik Mysterio entered the building.

Dominik won this match thanks to a fair amount of interference from The Judgement Day, namely JD McDonagh and Liv Morgan. Joe Tessitore was audibly disgusted.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee Grade: B

Natalya, Vega and Valkyria defeat Pure Fusion Collective

Tessitore shared a heartbreaking update on Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames as Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were laid to rest. There were loud chants of “Johnny” and several tributes throughout the evening, including Sami Zayn, who wore a No. 13 Gaudreau jersey.

Natalya made her “surprise comeback” in Calgary wearing a cowboy hat that only a Calgary wrestler could wear.

The PFC still has a terrible reputation as a team, but at least the team is well coordinated.

Natalya went crazy with a hot tag as the Saddledome fell apart.

The babyfaces won with stereo submissions, especially with Natalya’s Sharpshooter.

Natalya, Vega and Valkyria vs. PFC Grade: B

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre, Hell In A Cell announced

Drew McIntyre made a brilliant promo about how CM Punk wasn’t done with him just because Punk had touched the corners four times in a row. McIntyre then turned his attention to his friend Wade Barrett, who had stopped McIntyre from finishing off CM Punk. McIntyre said he was disappointed in his friend, but if it happened again, McIntyre would be “angry” at Barrett.

Barrett and McIntyre joked around with each other, drawing a loud cheer from the crowd. The joke was interrupted by Adam Pearce, who said Punk wasn’t done with McIntyre. Pearce then announced CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre. Again. Hell in a Cell.

Drew McIntyre Segment Rating: A

Finn Balor defeats Rey Mysterio

If WWE Raw gets a bad rating, this segment could suffer the most. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets began to overcome a 23-7 deficit against the 49ers, and Rodgers threw his first touchdown pass as a Jet on a free kick.

Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio are both in their 40s, but they fought this match like they were in their 20s.

After a victory by Finn Balor, Balor could not help himself and continued to attack Rey Mysterio.

Finn Balor vs. Rey Mysterio, grade: B

Jey Uso Def. Dragunov, Strowman and Dunne

WWE has really tried to get rid of the term “Calgar Yeet.”

Bron Breakker was a brilliant troll all night as he badmouthed every competitor in the match.

Fans wasted no time chanting “this is great” as the torrent of ridicule from each star poured in.

Bronson Reed made a surprise appearance by hitting a Tsunami on a standing Braun Strowman, drawing chants of “Holy shit.” The match continued as a Triple Threat.
