The 50th season of “Saturday Night Live” features some new cast members, while another cast member says goodbye.

According to Deadline, Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline have been added to the cast of the late-night sketch show.

Padilla has been a member of the main company of the esteemed improv troupe The Groundlings since 2021 and has also performed in “Night Court” and “Curb Your Enthusiam.”

Lebanese-American Wakim was chosen as the new face of comedy at the 2022 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. That same year, he made his debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Wickline rose to fame by building a following on TikTok, where she is a cast member on the show “Stapleview.” She also stars in the 2024 Mubi film “My First Film” and is touring with her comedy.

As “SNL” expands its cast, current cast member Chloe Troast shared on social media that she will not be returning for the new season.

“Unfortunately, I was not invited back to SNL this season,” Troast wrote. “I wish I could return to all the amazing friends I made there. It truly felt like home. But that wasn’t on the agenda.”

Punkie Johnson and Molly Kearney had previously announced that they would not return in the 50th season.

The anniversary season of “SNL” is likely to include several celebratory moments, but also plenty of political satire, such as the return of former cast member Maya Rudolph, who will periodically reprise her role as the new Vice President Kamala Harris.
