The 21st season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” will start with some changes. Not all of them will be pleasing to the fans.

When does DSDS start? Broadcast from September on RTL and RTL+

The exact day for the first casting episode has been set. Wednesday, 18 September 2024 is the date that fans have to mark in their calendars. New season shorter and only one live show

The quotes from last year did not make the broadcaster euphoric, but rather prompted them to shorten the show. There will only be 15 episodes in total. This is also likely to be the most serious change to the show’s schedule, as there will only be one live show. In return, someone over 90 could potentially become the German Superstar of the Year for the first time.

DSDS 2024: Season 21 has no upper age limit

Until now, at least 16 and you should be no older than 30 years to apply for DSDS. The minimum age remainsbut there are no upper age limits now. As Dieter put it, anyone who can sing can take part, “until they’re apparently dead.” According to RTL, Dieter Bohlen fought for this age limit for a long time and is now very excited about the range of new talents. Loredana admitted to having posed as a lawyer and thus having unlawfully extorted around 430.00 francs (around 400,000 euros) from the victim. The accused paid more than the amount back to the victim, admitted her offense and apologized. She started the fraud before the start of her rap career, which began with the song “Sunglasses” in 2018.
