Introducing Anker’s new MagGo accessories from IFA 2024

At IFA 2024, Anker once again presented various new products; in this article we focus on the new products in the MagGo line. This is what the manufacturer calls its MagSafe-enabled accessories.

Anker MagGo wireless charging station as a 3-in-1 foldable charging pad

The highlight is the new foldable travel charging station from Anker. This can be used to charge the iPhone, the Apple Watch including fast charging and a few AirPods. The device can be folded in half and is therefore only slightly larger than an old 5-mark coin.

The device is powered via USB-C, and the manufacturer recommends a power adapter with at least 30 watts. According to the manufacturer, the integrated ribbon cable can withstand several 10,000 folding attempts. At 99.90 euros, however, it is not exactly cheap. However, during our tour of the IFA, we did not notice any more compact competitor products. The product is available in black, blue, violet and green in a total of four colors. The last three colors are pastel colors.

The new power bank comes with an integrated USB-C cable for charging and an integrated charging puck for the Apple Watch. An integrated display provides information about the charging capacity.

The output is a maximum of 35 watts and can therefore also supply an iPad Pro with emergency power. The charging puck of the Apple Watch can be opened at a 90° angle. The power bank is charged via the integrated USB-C port. This product is also available directly for 79.90 euros.

Thanks to MagSafe, you no longer have to carry a separate cable around for the power bank, but the models were not really compact. This is especially true for power banks with 10,000 mAh. The manufacturer is now making another attempt with the newly introduced MagGo Powerbank:

In addition to the slim silhouette, the manufacturer will also score points with the feel. Thanks to Qi2, the iPhone can be charged with a maximum of 15 watts. In addition, the new MagGo Power Bank supports an input and output power of 30 watts.

This is a simple stand that charges the iPhone. The support surface can be rotated 360° and thus supports standby mode.

Anker will offer the new stand in three colors and will launch it with the tagline “Minimalist Design with Premium Feel” for 34.99 euros.
