Wonderful news from the Royal Family. In an emotional video, Princess Kate announces that she has finished her chemotherapy. The clip shows who her biggest supporters are.

Norfolk – These are images that are almost cinematic in quality. With a video lasting more than three minutes, Princess Kate (42) gives a very special health update. “Now that summer is drawing to a close, I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have finally finished my chemotherapy,” Kate tells Instagram But that’s not the only good news.

The preventive chemotherapy that Princess Kate had to undergo for months seems to have had the desired effect. “My focus now is on doing everything I can to stay cancer-free,” said Kate, who nevertheless announced that her road to full recovery is still long. Always by her side is her husband Prince William (42), with whom Catherine appears more intimate than ever in the video.

The footage, which was shot by London videographer Will Warr in idyllic Norfolk, also focuses on William and Kate’s children Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6). In the clip, Kate admits: “The last nine months have been incredibly hard for us as a family.” It’s all the more wonderful that all five of them can smile like that again. But two other people appear in one scene who are of the utmost importance for Princess Kate’s recovery.

Kate’s parents Michael (75) and Carole Middleton (69) can be seen playing cards with their daughter Kate, Prince William, George, Charlotte and Louis. The Middletons live in Bucklebury, just 45 minutes away from Kate and William’s home Adelaide Cottage at Windsor Castle. In the months since Princess Kate’s abdominal surgery in January, the two have looked after Kate and done a lot with the grandchildren to take the pressure off Kate.

“One thing that allows William and Kate to be so normal is the presence of the Middletons in their lives,” explained royal biographer Katie Nicholl in the documentary “Kate Middleton: Heir We Go Again.” Carole Middleton in particular is “absolutely indispensable.” The Middletons’ appearance in Princess Kate’s video reflected this indispensability. “She rushed to their aid, offered comfort and was a rock for Catherine and William as they processed the news,” a family friend told The Independent about Carole Middleton.

Not seen in Kate’s video are Prince William, whose father is also suffering from cancer, King Charles (75) and Queen Camilla (77). But William and Kate can always count on their support. According to Daily Mail Charles and Camilla are said to have welcomed the recovery update as “wonderful news.” Princess Kate’s brother James Middleton (37) also reacted emotionally to his big sister’s video.
