WhatsApp update: Messenger simplifies useful feature

The messaging service WhatsApp is constantly working on new features to improve your user experience with the app. A new feature has recently appeared that will soon allow you to create your own lists in the messenger to sort your chats.

The fan blog WABetainfo has discovered a new feature in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.19.25 that makes accessing this practical function even easier. The screenshot shows that both individuals and groups can be added to a list via the respective chat info card. You can access this info card by tapping the name of the group or person at the top of the chat.

How to sort your chats faster in the future

The list feature, which has been in development for some time, can be very useful for better organizing your chat overview in the future. This means you can only see your specific chats when you open the respective list. Thanks to the new ability to add individual people or groups to a list directly from the chat’s info card, you no longer even have to leave the chat and go to WhatsApp’s general settings

Instead, you will soon be able to take the person or group you were chatting with directly from the chat and add them to one of your lists – or create a completely new list, as this feature also offers an option for creating lists.

The feature is still under development

WABetainfo writes that both the list feature and the extension that has now been discovered are still in development. However, the fan blog assumes that it will be made available in one of the next updates for your smartphones – assuming you use the messenger on an Android device.
