TikTok star Caleb Graves shares disturbing videos shortly before his death

This stroke of fate is difficult for his family and friends to cope with. TikTok star Caleb Graves (real name Bobby Graves) was known and loved by his fans above all for his good humor and approachability. On Sunday (September 8th), however, the young man died suddenly at the age of just 35. And this despite the fact that he had just crossed the finish line at the Halloween half marathon at Disneyland in Anaheim, California!

As the Anaheim police confirmed to the US magazine “People”, Caleb collapsed shortly after crossing the finish line – in the middle of a record heat wave with temperatures around 40 degrees. “The race started at 5 a.m. (…) He crossed the finish line at about 7 a.m., which is a really good time,” said a police spokesman. Did the 35-year-old push himself too hard in the last few weeks before the race? Several videos that he shared online shortly before his death now provide an indication of this.

A police spokesperson recently revealed to “People” with a heavy heart: “When Caleb crossed the finish line, he began to clutch his chest. One of the staff noticed this, ran to him and caught him before he collapsed. (… ) The emergency services couldn’t have arrived any faster.” However, help came in vain, as the spokesperson continued: “They tried for an hour to save him, but at the hospital they could only confirm his death.” Just one day before his death, Caleb was already showing the first signs that he had reached his physical limits during half-marathon training. In a video he shared on TikTok, the 35-year-old spoke about the high temperatures in California and said: “The Disneyland Half Marathon – the Halloween Half Marathon – is tomorrow and I’m a little worried now.”

In the video, Caleb also openly admitted: “I’m a little sensitive to heat. (…) I was outside for about 20 minutes walking my dog. It was hot, but I felt good… and then about 10 minutes after I went back in, I just fell asleep and had no control over my body (…) I don’t know what’s going on, but I really hope I can make it through the race tomorrow morning.” Sad words that caused horror after the 35-year-old’s death. Particularly tragic: In other videos that the TikTok star shared in the weeks and days before the race, he repeatedly warned of the extreme heat and reminded his fans: “Drink enough and listen to your body!”
