The company encourages its customers to complete storm plans and stay informed

THE WOODLANDS – Entergy Texas is monitoring the development of a low pressure system over the Bay of Campeche and preparing for potential impacts to its service area. According to the latest forecast from the National Hurricane Center, a tropical depression is likely to form early to mid-next week and move northward near or along the Mexican and Texas Gulf Coasts. Entergy Texas crews and contractors are prepared to respond safely and quickly, working overtime if necessary, to restore power after the storm.

Although the exact path and impact of the storm is still uncertain, Entergy Texas recommends that customers prepare now. Review storm plans and stock up on essential supplies such as flashlights, a first aid kit, a battery-powered radio, spare batteries, important documents and medications, nonperishable food, and enough water to last several days. Learn more about how to put together an emergency kit and get important severe weather safety tips at the Entergy Storm Center.
