Apple Watch: 1000-euro metal bracelet from Hermès

When introducing new Apple Watch models on Monday, Apple also had high-fashion fans in mind: the cooperation with the French luxury goods producer Hermès will be continued and deepened. Various new bracelet models and Apple Watch devices with Hermès features were announced, including for the first time an Ultra 2 with Hermès look.

The standard version of the Apple Watch Hermès as Series 10 costs at least 1399 euros (42 mm) or 1449 euros (45 mm). For this you get a silver-colored titanium case with one of several special bracelets from Hermès. These are available in leather, rubber, textile and, for the first time, stainless steel. So you can spend up to 2099 euros on a Series 10. As usual, the Hermès watches come with a corresponding label on the outside and all with exclusive watch faces from the luxury brand, which are specially unlocked in watchOS 11.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 Hermès is completely new. It costs 1579 euros in the only available size (49 mm). The titanium case is made in the old standard color “natural”, not in the dark version introduced yesterday. It comes with the new “En Mer Bleu Nuit” strap made of “waterproof structured knit fabric” that is “reminiscent of the pattern of waves,” according to Apple. It comes with a “subtle H motif” and a “special matching clasp made of titanium.”

Bracelet from 1000 Euro

Apple and Hermès also sell the brand’s bracelets individually, so that you can combine them with existing Apple Watch devices. The desired product can either be ordered from Apple or (sometimes in their own versions and with faster delivery) on the Hermès website. One of the newly available versions is the first steel bracelet from Hermès that Apple sells: The Grand H Satiné is available in two sizes, 42 and 46 mm, and costs 999 euros each. This makes it more than twice as expensive as Apple’s own stainless steel link bracelet.

Also new are a “Twill Jump Attelage” as a single tour and a “Torsade” as a double tour. Apple also sold the popular Kilim in rubber in new colors. Prices range from 349 to 479 euros. Availability usually begins in October.
