Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 price leak offers pleasant surprise

In brief

  • The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus could see a price reduction for the 512 GB model.
  • It is unclear whether Samsung plans to make similar price cuts across the entire Galaxy Tab S10 lineup.
  • Samsung’s new tablets are expected to hit the market next month.

The Galaxy Tab S10 series is the next big launch for Samsung before the Galaxy S25 range comes out, and as the release of the new tablets draws ever closer, two separate leaks have revealed their possible pricing.

The most current information comes from informants and WinFuture Author Roland Quandt. According to his information, the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus with 256GB storage will cost $999, the same as last year’s Galaxy Tab S9 Plus. The good news, however, is that the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus with 512GB storage is now expected to cost $1,119, compared to last year’s price of $1,199 for the Tab S9 Plus with 512GB storage. That’s an $80 discount on the new tablet, making it cheaper than the 13-inch Apple iPad Pro. It’s unclear if Samsung plans to make similar discounts on other 512GB models in the Galaxy Tab S10 series.

Meanwhile, a separate leak from September 7 revealed the Swiss pricing information for the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra, suggesting that the tablets could be slightly more expensive than last year. More specifically, the report suggested that the new tablets could be 150 to 170 Swiss francs (~$176) more expensive than their predecessors from last year. However, since the media outlet reporting this information is less known for its leaks, we don’t trust this leak as much as Quandt’s information.

When will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series be released?

The mystery surrounding the price of the Galaxy Tab S10 series will soon end as Samsung has confirmed that the tablets will launch later this year. The company announced Android Authority so much, and a trusted leaker later revealed that the launch will take place in October.

Thanks to leaked images and accompanying information, we don’t expect any major design changes in Samsung’s new flagship tablets. The biggest change could be MediaTek chips. Samsung is believed to use the Dimensity 9300 Plus on the Galaxy Tab S10 series, but it’s unclear if the chip will be different in different regions.
