Japan and Colombia open the blind football competition in the iconic Eiffel Tower Stadium, while Norway Birgit Skarstein will defend her title in the women’s single PR1W1x Para-rowing Title after winning gold at Tokyo 2020.

Skarstein is a celebrity in her home country thanks to a successful appearance in the local version of Dancing with the stars and her family, friends and fans will come in droves to cheer her on as she takes part in what she says will be her final Games.

Two-time men’s PTWC Para-Triathlon Master from the Netherlands, Now Platis aiming for his third title in Paris 2024. Plat took part in the 2023 Para-Triathlon test event and said: “It was difficult, but in the end it was a really good test.” Expectations are reaching their peak for the Para-Triathlon champion and two-time Para-Cycling gold medalist, who will compete in the main event on the Pont Alexandre III in the French capital.

Three times Para-archery Competitor, Team USA Matt Stutzman will take part in the Paralympics for the fourth time in Paris in 2024. The two-time world champion, who is best known as “The Armless Archer”, will try to London2012 Silver medal.

Meanwhile, Britain’s Sarah Storey will try to defend her title on the Paracycling route in the women’s individual pursuit C5. Storey is the most decorated athlete in the history of the Paralympicswith 17 gold medals at eight games. Paris 2024 will be the superstar’s ninth Paralympic Games.
