Wyatt Sicks win Street Fight at WWE Raw

(1) 8-person street fight: The Wyatt Sicks (Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross) esp. American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile)

This no-rules street fight lasted over 16 minutes and thrilled Canadian fans with plenty of action. Among others, Nikki Cross and Ivy Nile had some tough moments – first they both went over the commentator’s table, later there was a neckbreaker from Nikki against Ivy on several chairs outside.

In the final phase, Chad Gable sought a direct confrontation with Uncle Howdy. Erick Rowan was there and sent Gable into the ring steps.

After the provocation, Uncle Howdy took action himself. He eliminated Julius Creed with Sister Abigail. Dexter Lumis then landed on Gable with a splash from the ropes, ending the match in favor of Wyatt Sicks.

Jey Uso’s rescue comes too late

Finn Bálor made it clear in the ring: “Damian Priest cheated on Judgement Day!” Bálor should have won the World Title first, but Priest was always lurking with his briefcase. Damian was called into the hall at this point – and Finn made it clear: “I was never your sidekick!” Bálor demanded a long overdue match between the two men at “Bad Blood”, and Priest accepted.

Finn now had the support of JD McDonagh and Carlito. A physical altercation broke out. At first Damian was able to hold his own on his own, but then got into trouble. This led to the appearance of Rhea Ripley. She came to the ring with a crutch. Liv Morgan attacked Rhea, but Ripley pushed her to the floor. Then Rhea hit Dominik Mysterio with the crutch until Liv threw herself on Ripley’s injured leg.

The attack continued in the ring, and Priest threw himself on Ripley to protect her from further hits. Dominik landed more hits on Priest with the crutch. Finally, when Finn was about to perform the Coup de Grace, Jey Uso appeared and drove away Judgement Day with a chair.

In addition to Finn Bálor and Damian Priest, a title match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan for “Bad Blood” was also confirmed in this segment.

For Bret Hart, Gunther is a coward!

A special moment is scheduled for WWE Raw. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett greet Bret “Hitman” Hart. The two-time Hall of Famer made it clear that there was no one who was champion with as much pride as he was – a Canadian champion. Bret never shied away from a challenge. That’s why he is: “The Best There Was, The Best There Is, and The Best There Ever Will Be.”

That brought Gunther into action. The World Heavyweight Champion said that tonight was like a passing of the torch. Bret was indeed the best there ever was. But Gunther was the best of today and also the best of all time. In fact, Bret was only his second all-time favorite, right after Bill Goldberg.

Sami Zayn had heard enough. The next Canadian came into the ring to make it clear that Bret was a hero to everyone here. In this context, Zayn again issued his challenge to Gunther. But the World Heavyweight Champion waved him off again this week.

As Gunther was about to leave the hall, Bret spoke up again and called Gunther a coward. The world champion didn’t want to take that lying down. Sami, however, confronted Gunther in front of the ring – and an exchange of blows broke out.

However, Zayn did not get a title match this week either…

Natalya returns to WWE Raw

(4) Natalya, Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega esp. The Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark)

“What do you think will be different this time?” Sonya Deville wanted to know. They saw no chance for the other side. But then the partner for Lyra Valkyria and Zelina Vega appeared: Natalya!

In this match, everything was pointing towards the Sharpshooter, which Natalya was finally able to use against Zoey Stark. Lyra and Zelina also took the other two opponents into submission moves, so that no one could interrupt the Sharpshooter. Stark gave up!

Later, backstage, Natalya received a hug from her uncle Bret.

With “Bad Blood” comes: HELL IN A CELL!

Drew McIntyre showed good things at WWE Raw. He was convinced that his nasty move the previous week had ended CM Punk’s career. Now he could concentrate on other things, such as the World Heavyweight Championship. At the same time, his first Hollywood film came out this week. Barrett can be seen in a production with Batista.

There was only one thing that didn’t suit McIntyre. And that involved a friend of his: commentator Wade Barrett. Drew didn’t like the way Wade recently got involved in his conflict: “I’m not angry, but disappointed!” Drew confronted Wade – and it looked like trouble was brewing when Raw General Manager Adam Pearce came into the hall.

Pearce ordered Drew back into the ring. He said he had spoken to CM Punk. And contrary to McIntyre’s assumption, Punk is not finished. Pearce announced a final encounter between Drew and CM Punk for October 5th at “Bad Blood”. Then the conflict for everything will be sealed… with HELL IN A CELL!

This match came about after a backstage segment.

When Rey Mysterio tried a 619, he was caught by Finn Bálor. A hold was applied in the ropes. The referee counted Bálor, but he didn’t let go. A disqualification was the result!

The frustrated Finn continued: Rey was thrown against the ring post. The referee tried to hold Bálor back, but he came back and dropkicked Rey against the ring.

*** Karrion Kross spoke to The Miz. He wanted to help him out of his career crisis. Xavier Woods interrupted the conversation. Miz saw through Karrion’s game himself, but also admitted that he wasn’t that wrong. Then Kofi Kingston came along. He informed Xavier that both men would get a title match next week. Then she could celebrate her upcoming 10-year New Day anniversary with the gold.

New #1 challenger for Bron Breakker determined!

(6) Jey Uso defeats Ilja Dragunov, Braun Strowman, Pete Dunne in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the #1 contender spot for Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker; I pin Dunne with the Uso Splash

In the run-up to the main event at WWE Raw, Bron Breakker faced his potential opponents. Pete Dunne was also surprised and harshly attacked by Sheamus in one scene.

Braun Strowman swept all of his opponents off their feet with his lap around the ring. Then he cleared the commentary table. But at that moment Bronson Reed was back! He jumped from the barrier by the timekeeper and sent Braun through the table!

Jey Uso landed a spear against Ilja Dragunov in the grand finale. But Pete Dunne was there to stop him. He threw Jey out of the ring, but failed in his attempt to score the pin against Ilja.

Dragunov prevented the bitter end. Ilja followed with a powerbomb and the H-Bomb. Jey Uso broke the cover with a superkick against Ilja. Jey immediately climbed the ropes and landed with the Uso Splash on Dunne. 1…2…3 – the decision! Yes!

At the end of this WWE Raw broadcast, Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker faced his new challenger.
