Perpetrator makes off with several thousand euros!

Leipzig- The criminal police of the trade fair city are asking for help in solving a robbery.

The victim: a 44-year-old man. According to the police, he was on his way home early Sunday morning, around 3:55 a.m., when an unknown man approached him on Gregoryplatz at the corner of Naunhofer Straße and Gletschersteinweg.

The unknown perpetrator suddenly threw the 44-year-old to the ground and kicked him several times. He then stole several valuables and cash before running off.

The 44-year-old subsequently had to be treated as an outpatient in a hospital.

According to the police, the theft damage is in the high four-digit range.
