Der Schulmodus der “Kids Watch” (es handelt sich um die Xplora X6 Play) Prevents disruptive phone calls during class. The SOS button always works and alerts two stored contacts including the child’s GPS data at the push of a button (hold down for five seconds). The manufacturer states that the battery lasts up to 72 hours; with active use with GPS tracking and phone calls, the battery lasts between 24 and 48 hours.

Der Tarif enthält je 100 Freiminuten und SMS, damit Sohn oder Tochter zu Hause Bescheid geben können. Zudem bewirbt die Telekom die enthaltene Ortungs-Flatrate (500 Megabyte mit maximal), die selbst bei reduziertem Übertragungstempo zuverlässig ihren Dienst verrichten soll.
