With high summer temperatures, the new autumn fashion was apparently more about looking (here: Munich) than trying on and buying.

High Quentin and low Xania brought midsummer weather once again last week. With sweltering temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius and more, interest in new autumn fashion was limited. For the stationary fashion trade, the start of September was anything but pleasant: At the majority of POS locations, sales were below the previous year, and retailers with a higher-range product range in particular had to accept a drop in sales.
