The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra are due to hit the market in just a few weeks. A leak has now suggested that the next generation flagship tablets could be significantly more expensive.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series is expected to be officially launched in October. SVZTechInfo has now been able to find out the first retailer prices from Switzerland for all variants of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. It cannot yet be verified whether these are the final prices, but this leak indicates a serious price increase. The tablets are expected to come onto the market at the following prices:

Galaxy Tab S10+ Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
256 GB / WiFi 1.179 CHF 1,399 CHF
512 GB / WiFi 1,299 CHF 1,519 CHF
1 TB / WiFi 1.829 CHF
256GB / 5G 1,319 CHF 1,549 CHF
512GB / 5G 1,439 CHF 1,669 CHF
1TB / 5G 1.979 CHF

For comparison: The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ (approx. 830 euros on Amazon) with 256 GB storage came onto the market last year for a recommended retail price of 1,029 CHF, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with the same storage for 1,229 CHF. This makes the basic models 150 to 170 CHF, i.e. 160 to 181 euros, more expensive, while the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra costs the equivalent of between 1,493 euros and 2,112 euros, depending on the storage and the built-in 5G modem.

This would make Samsung’s flagship tablet cheaper than the 13-inch Apple iPad Pro, which is available with 256 GB of storage for 1,549 euros, but with 1 TB of storage and 5G for 2,529 euros. The Galaxy Tab S10 series is said to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ and receive new AI features, but the design of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is said to be unchanged from its predecessor.
