Lisicki announces the birth of her daughter

Tennis player Sabine Lisicki has become a mother to a daughter. “Our hearts are filled with love and happiness,” the 34-year-old wrote on Instagram after the birth of her first child: “We are grateful to welcome Bella into our world.” The former Wimbledon finalist posted a photo of a baby’s head held by four hands.

Lisicki had announced that she wanted to return to the professional tour after the birth of her child. The former 12th-ranked player in the world has not played in a tournament since December 2023.
