Price of iPhone 16 series leaked before big launch event: This is how much new iPhones could cost

Apple is gearing up to hold its ‘It’s Glowtime’ event on September 9, 2024, at 10:30 PM IST at Apple Park in California. The tech giant is likely to unveil its new iPhone 16 series during this event. iPhone 16 Price in India (Expected)

In India, official pricing details are still unconfirmed, but estimates based on previous models provide some insight. Previously, Apple had adjusted its pricing strategy in response to a new government policy that reduced taxes on imported handsets and components. This adjustment led to a price cut for the iPhone 15 series earlier this year.

The iPhone 16 Pro with 6.3-inch display could come with a base storage of 256GB, which would potentially push the starting price to around Rs 140,000. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro Max price could start at around Rs 155,000. However, cost reductions could be possible in the future as both the Pro models are expected to be assembled in India, which could lead to lower prices.
