iOS 18: When will the update be available – which iPhone will get it?

As usual with Apple, the new iPhone 16 will be released in September. This year, the Apple keynote will take place on September 9, 2024. At the same time as the devices go on sale a week later, iOS 18 will also be available for free download (probably September 16, 2024).

But which devices will actually get the new software? Initial information about this was leaked on a private account on the X platform, but this entry is no longer available.

Aaron Perris, a writer at MacRumors, had a chance to view the list before it was removed. The origin of the post is attributed to a source known for its reliable information about new iOS versions.
