2-year-old property dispute over, villas worth Rs 20 million razed in Hyderabad | Hyderabad News

HYDRAA carried out a large-scale demolition operation in various parts of the city on Sunday.

HYDERABAD: Intensifying efforts to combat Sea raidsthe Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) led to a massive Demolition ride in different parts of the city.
As part of the action, HYDRAA demolished 11 semi-detached houses that were just being built. Srinivasa Constructions on two acres in the FTL and buffer zone of Mallampet Cheruvu in Dundigal. The estimated cost of each of these buildings is over Rs 2 crore.
A criminal case has been registered against the builder, Vijaya Lakshmi. These villas have been under investigation for the past two years. It was found that the builder had obtained fake permissions from the Panchayat and all these constructions were sealed two years ago.

Intensification of the demolition project

Meanwhile, HYDRAA has demolished over 30 huts and buildings under construction in Sunnam Cheruvu in Madhapur. The huts were built by Land robbers who brought workers from Bihar and Odisha.
HYDRAA destroyed walls, rooms and sheds of a complex entered by Katasani Rambhupal Reddy, a former MP from Panyam, in Ameenpur Lake in Sangareddy district. Reddy had constructed these buildings for commercial purposes. It was found that the buildings constructed on 51 acres of land in Padmavathi Nagar did not have any permission.
“No residential buildings will be razed to the ground”
HYDRAA said that no occupied houses or apartments will be demolished and that only newly constructed buildings in FTL or buffer zones of water bodies will be demolished. “People should refrain from buying properties that are within the FTL or buffer zones of lakes. If buyers have any concerns, we request them to HMDA lakes website. You can also contact the authority,” said AV Ranganath, HYDRAA commissioner.
