Omaha police respond to crime scene near Yale Park

OMAHA, Nebraska (WOWT) – Omaha police are investigating an altercation between juveniles that turned violent, a statement said Sunday.

Omaha police have arrested three teenagers on suspicion of aggravated assault at the Yale Park Apartments.

Officers arrived at the scene at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday and found three victims with gunshot or stab wounds.

Omaha Fire Department paramedics took the victims to Nebraska Medicine with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators determined that an altercation had occurred between two groups of juveniles, both of whom had firearms and knives. The juveniles were taken to the Douglas County Juvenile Center after receiving treatment at the hospital.
