4 trainees start at the Forchheim municipal utilities

Four new trainees began their training at the Forchheim municipal utilities on September 2nd. Over the next few years, they will learn the profession of electronics technician for energy and building technology (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d).
“With our new class, we have a total of 19 trainees who are learning a trade with us.” “It is important to train your own staff and give them a long-term perspective,” emphasised Christian Sponsel, Managing Director of the municipal utility company, who is pleased with this positive development. Over the next three to three and a half years, the trainees will get to know not only their training profession but also the other departments of the municipal utility company: “We want to give our trainees the best possible chance to get to know the company in all its facets and thus also to better understand how the individual teams work together,” explains Kathrin Brehm, Human Resources Manager at the municipal utility company.

Application process for 2025 is in full swing

Parallel to the start of the new trainees, the application phase for the 2025 training year is in full swing: For the coming year, we are looking for plant mechanics for supply technology (m/f/d), electronics technicians for energy and building technology (m/f/d), industrial clerks (m/f/d), environmental technologists for water supply (m/f/d) and IT specialists for application development (m/f/d). In addition, there is always the opportunity to complete an internship or to apply on your own initiative. We are currently also looking for further support in the commercial and technical areas.
