In a high-scoring match in the 2nd class North (BGLD), the UFC Schützen achieved an impressive 5:2 victory against FC Oslip. The party that took place in the fourth round offered the spectators numerous goals and some heated moments. UFC Schützen were particularly strong in the second half and secured the victory.


Earlier penalty puts FC Oslip in the lead

The match began with an early setback for the hosts, as FC Oslip took the lead with a penalty in the 12th minute. Ábel Kulcsár confidently converted the penalty to make it 0-1 and thus scored the first goal of the game. The early lead initially gave the guests a boost, but the UFC shooter was unfazed and pushed for the equalizer.

In the 39th minute, Denis Pecho managed to level the score. His goal to make it 1-1 marked the turning point in the first half. From then on, the hosts showed a much improved performance and created several chances. Shortly before half-time, the UFC shooter rewarded himself for the increasing pressure and took a 2-1 lead through Lukas Kubus in the 45th minute. The teams went into the dressing rooms with this score.

UFC shooters dominated second half

The second half began just as excitingly as the first ended. In the 49th minute, Lukas Kubus extended the hosts’ lead to 3:1. FC Oslip now seemed increasingly insecure and could hardly find any way to counter the UFC Shooters’ offensive. The home team consistently exploited the guests’ weak phase and scored 4:1 in the 64th minute, again through Lukas Kubus, who thus scored a hat trick.

The game now seemed to be decided, but FC Oslip did not give up without a fight. In the 77th minute, David Bodnar was able to reduce the score to 4:2 for the visitors, giving them another glimmer of hope. But the UFC shooter remained focused and did not allow any more goals. Things heated up again in the final phase of the party when Patrick Kölbl was sent off with a yellow-red card in the 88th minute. Despite being outnumbered, the UFC shooter kept control of the game.

Patrik Hrnko put the finishing touches to the game in the 90th minute with his goal to make it 5:2. With this goal, he sealed the clear victory for the UFC shooters and ensured a successful end to a goal-filled party. The hosts’ fans were thus able to celebrate a well-deserved home victory and the team consolidated its position in the table.
