Experience Klangwolke 2024 here in the livestream

LINZ. On Saturday, September 7th, it’s that time again: The Donaupark Linz is the setting for the spectacular visualized Linz sound cloud. It stretches from the depths of the ocean to distant galaxies. If you can’t be there in person, you can experience the sound cloud on Tips.at via TV1 livestream. It starts at 8.30 p.m.

Under the title “Pioneers 52 Hz”, the Klangwolke 2024 presented by Sparkasse OÖ & Linz AG focuses on eight pioneers and their achievements for humanity.

Seven hot air balloons will rise into the sky, an oversized whale designed especially for the Linz show, giant figures and much more will be brought to life.

The Sound Cloud 2024 will be staged for the second time by the Catalan artist collective La Fura dels Baus under director Carlus Padrissa, who was already responsible for the implementation of the Sound Cloud PAX in 2018. This is considered one of the most popular Sound Clouds with around 110,000 visitors.

Pioneers of humanity

At the centre of the story are world-famous pioneers such as Marie Curie, Gustav Klimt, Melanie Klein, Pina Bausch, Mileva Einstein, Johannes Kepler, Nikola Tesla, Roger Payne and Jane Goodall.

The musical basis is Gustav Holst’s orchestral suite “The Planets”, paired with a specially developed sound design.

Tips.at is broadcasting live here via TV1 stream, starting at 8.30 p.m.
