Texas Lottery launches four new scratch cards called Lucky 7s

With the new Texas Lottery scratch cards, seven could be your lucky number.

Starting September 3, the Texas Lottery has released four new versions of Lucky 7s to give players the chance to win top prizes ranging from $5,000 to $1 million.

The family of four games, which includes tickets ranging in price from $1 to $20, includes more than 8 million winning tickets with cash prizes totaling over $177 million from all games.

In each game, players try to match their player numbers with the winning numbers. If a “7” symbol appears among the player numbers, the player immediately wins the displayed prize. If a “77” or “777” symbol appears, the player wins double or triple the displayed prize.

Players must be at least 18 years old to participate. Winnings must be claimed no later than 180 days after the game ends.

$1,000,000 Lucky 7s

The scratch card game with the highest top prize is $1,000,000 Lucky 7s, which offers more than $76.6 million in cash prizes. The $20 ticket offers 35 chances to win a cash prize, including one of four top prizes worth $1 million.

The odds of winning the top prize of $1 million are 1 in 2.6 million. The total odds for all prizes in the game are 1 in 3.4, including the break-even prizes.

$500,000 Lucky 7s

The $500,000 Lucky 7s scratch card game offers over $57.3 million in prizes. The $10 ticket includes 30 chances to win a cash prize, including five top prizes worth $500,000 each.

The odds of winning the top prize of $500,000 are 1 in 1.608 million. The total odds for all prizes in the game are 1 in 4.05, including the break-even prizes.

$200,000 Lucky 7s

The $200,000 Lucky 7s scratch card game offers over $38.2 million in total cash prizes. The $5 ticket offers 25 chances to win a cash prize, including one of four top prizes worth $200,000 each.

The odds of winning the top prize of $200,000 are 1 in 2.76 million. The total odds for all prizes in the game are 1 in 4.2, including the break-even prizes.

$5,000 Lucky 7s

At just $1 per ticket, the $5,000 Lucky 7s scratch card game is the most affordable option for players. The game includes 10 top prizes worth $5,000 each.

The odds of winning the top prize of $5,000 are 1 in 900,000. The total odds for all prizes in the game are 1 in 4.95, including the break-even prizes.
