Zendure balcony power plant: cooperation for intermediate storage with dynamic electricity tariffs

Zendure balcony power plant: cooperation for intermediate storage with dynamic electricity tariffs

Zendure announces its partnership with Rabot Charge to further optimize energy cost savings for Hyper 2000 (test) users. In the future, the Zendure app will not only display Nord Pool day-ahead wholesale prices, but also real-time retail prices for electricity via Rabot Charge.

Partnership brings tariff dynamics to the Zendure app

Rabot Charge is a German green energy provider with dynamic electricity tariffs. By integrating Rabot Charge’s real-time prices into the Zendure app, the time-of-use (TOU) functionality for the Hyper 2000 and Ace 15000 energy storage solutions will be enabled, which, in conjunction with dynamic electricity prices, can store energy in the battery at low prices in order to then use it at times when electricity prices are higher.

Even if you are not a Rabot Charge customer, you can access the current prices in the Zendure app and get an idea of how they are developing if you are unsure whether such a tariff could be an option, or to see a comparable tariff from the competition. Zendure users can save the basic fee for six months if they take out a dynamic tariff from Rabot Charge via the Zendure app.

The integration of Nord Pool and Rabot Charge’s electricity tariffs makes Zendure’s Hyper 2000 and Ace 1500 the first plug-in solar systems that can access multiple TOU platforms and use them for optimized charging and discharging with dynamic electricity tariffs. By knowing the current electricity prices, users also have the option of deliberately shifting high consumption, for example from household appliances, to times when electricity prices are cheaper in order to reduce energy costs.

A positive side effect of intermediate energy storage is that electricity demand is reduced during peak times, thus relieving the burden on the public grid infrastructure.

New batteries extinguish fire automatically

Shortly before the IFA, Zendure had already introduced new batteries for balcony power stations, the AB1000S and AB2000S, which, with an integrated aerosol fire suppression system, are intended to counteract the fear many users have of a brand with this technology. The new batteries are already available directly from Zendure at a discount.

Integration of the EverHome EcoTracker

In addition, in a few weeks Zendure will enable the control of the output line of a Zendure balcony power plant via the EverHome EcoTracker. This is a magnetic IR reading head for the electricity meter, which, like the Tibber Pulse (test), reads the household’s energy consumption in real time.
