Johnny Depp has “rotten” teeth repaired – apparently in a dental transformation

Fans of Johnny Depp have noticed that the major change seems to have healed his “rotten” teeth.

A bartender at Lorraine’s Café in Exuma shared a clip of the actor on vacation in the Bahamas, inviting the movie star to come behind the bar to mix some drinks.

In the clip, Depp, who recently paid tribute to his co-star from “Pirates of the Caribbean” who died in a shark attack, can be seen smiling to himself – and his fans immediately noticed that he appears to be wearing new, shiny veneers.

The 61-year-old actor’s dental hygiene was questioned at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival when he attended the premiere of Jeanne du BarryHis fans expressed concern about the appearance of his teeth, with some complaining that they looked like they were “rotting” and others urging him to go to the dentist.

Now, those fans are pointing out that the actor appears to have had dental work done. One wrote in the video’s reply section: “He looks so happy! And healthy and LOOKS he got his teeth fixed!!!!!”

Another added: “Johnny Depp has new teeth!” and yet another person commented: “The pirate teeth are gone… the pearly whites look beautiful.”

Others continued to point out the change, with one fan commenting, “He definitely got his teeth done! Looks so good,” and another commenting, “Am I right in saying his teeth look brighter than ever???”

Depp, who had his teeth replaced for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean, said of his dental health in the 1990s: “I had a root canal eight years ago and it’s still ongoing. It’s like a rotten little stub.”

He added premiere: “When I see people with perfect teeth, I go crazy. I would rather swallow a tick than have something like that!”

The bartender who shared the video captioned the clip: “Jacksparrow meets the killer bartender from Exuma, Bahamas…once in a lifetime moments with Mr. Johnny Depp.”

When talking about changing Jack Sparrow’s teeth in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Depp previously revealed: “Jerry [Bruckheimer, producer] was a little uncomfortable and Disney executives weren’t too happy about it… I said, ‘Look, these are the decisions I made. You know my work. So either trust me or fire me.’ And thankfully they didn’t.”
