For a long time, Panasonic TVs were not officially available on the US market, but the ten-year dry spell is now coming to an end with the new Fire TV models.

The current Panasonic televisions are already available on the European market, including the top OLED TV models Z95A (MLA Meta OLED panel), the top-class OLED devices Z85A and the mini-LED LCD TVs W95A.

The integrated Fire TV provides a versatile Smart TV interface to play the popular streaming provider in 4K HDR quality.

Panasonic has now officially announced all of the TV models mentioned above for the US market. The televisions are offered by numerous sales partners, including Amazon.

Panasonic also has some news to announce on the European market. Panasonic has announced its collaboration with the creative company Platige. The precision of the Panasonic OLED TV is designed to ensure the highest fidelity for Platige’s animations and visual effects.

Gaming fans, on the other hand, are in for a hot autumn of gaming with the Diablo IV expansion “Vessel of Hatred” starting October 8th, which Panasonic will be supporting as the official TV partner of Activision Blizzard.

Panasonic’s most powerful TVs with Game Mode Extreme are compatible with 144 Hz 4K HDR signals and deliver excellent playback quality and optimal playability thanks to VRR, Freesync and G-Sync support.

Leasing and second-hand offers

Nobody expected another announcement at the IFA: Within the next 12 months, Panasonic will establish product leasing on the European market and optionally market important devices as “Product as a Service” (PaaS).

In addition, Panasonic will focus more on device renewal in order to offer second-hand products. This could give Panasonic devices an even longer lifespan in the future and consumers could purchase used goods at attractive conditions without great risk.

These developments are in line with Panasonic’s efforts to create a seamless circular economy model. Panasonic launched a renewal program in the Japanese market (“Panasonic Factory Refresh”) in April. The program includes televisions, washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators and Lumix cameras and is likely to serve as a blueprint for the European plans.

“For more than 100 years, Panasonic has been committed to society and today climate change is the critical issue we must face.” For this reason, Panasonic is committed to reducing and avoiding carbon emissions and developing active solutions that promote the use of recycled materials, motivating customers to buy remanufactured products and developing a shared awareness of the circularity of materials and products. “These approaches are central to our mission to make a meaningful contribution to the fight against climate change,” said Hideki Katayama, Managing Director, Panasonic Marketing Europe.
