Apple Watch Series 10: What is expected

Apple Watch Series 10: What is expected

Apple Watch Series 2

Apple plans to update all of its Apple Watch models simultaneously on September 9. There will be a new entry-level model, the Apple Watch SE, a mid-range model, the Series 10, and the Ultra 3. The Apple Watch Ultra will only see minor changes, focusing on internal upgrades.

The biggest upgrade will be the Series 10. For the first time since the Series 7, the flagship model will receive an updated design. The overall look will be similar to the Series 9, but there will be slightly larger screen sizes and a noticeably thinner body.

Although new AI features have been announced for the iPhone, iPad and Mac, Apple Watches are not expected to receive any significant Apple Intelligence capabilities. Any AI technology will likely be tied specifically to a future health coaching service, at least according to Bloomberg.

A significant new health feature, according to the report, will be sleep apnea detection, which builds on existing sleep monitoring. This feature will attempt to determine if the wearer has sleep apnea and suggest further testing with a doctor. Although Apple plans to announce this feature, it may not be available right when the new models go on sale.

On the other hand, hypertension detection was supposed to be integrated into the Apple Watch this year, but there are indications that this feature will be delayed and will not be available immediately.
