Football is flying again: The new season in the NFL, the highest US division of American football, began on September 6, 2024. The reigning champions are the Kansas City Chiefs, after they beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in the 58th Super Bowl, the final of last season.

The schedule for the 2024/25 NFL season

As mentioned at the beginning, the first matchday of the 2024/25 NFL season will be on September 6, 2024. As defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs kicked things off: They opened the new season with a home game against the Baltimore Ravens – the venue for the game was Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. NFL season 2024/25: Broadcasting of the games on TV and stream
