James and Barbara Moore Observatory Observation Schedule 2024-25 | News, Sports, Jobs

The James and Barbara Moore Observatory on the Charlotte campus of Florida SouthWestern College (FSW) in Punta Gorda will open for its 2024–25 public observing sessions in September.

Public tours are held every fourth Friday of the month. These events are open to the public, no reservation is required. Tours begin 30 minutes after sunset and end between 10 and 11 p.m., weather permitting. The FSW Charlotte Campus is located at 26300 Airport Road, Punta Gorda.
