When does “Exatlon Germany” start?

The new format will be launched in September: The first episode will air on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on Sport1.

These are the broadcast dates for “Exatlon Germany”

The broadcaster is going all in on the successful format and is showing five two-hour episodes per week, each at prime time: “Exatlon Germany” is always Monday to Friday at 20:15.

Will “Exatlon Germany” be repeated?

If you miss the show at prime time, you can rest assured: Sport1 will show most episodes again the next day. With a few exceptions, the repeats will begin at 4 p.m.

How many episodes are in season 1?

It is currently unclear how many episodes there will be in the first season. According to the “Bild” newspaper, filming will last a full 14 weeks.

The number of episodes in the formats in other countries varies enormously. The broadcasts last several months, between twelve and 31 weeks.

This is what “Exatlon Germany” is all about

In the sports reality show, stars from the sports and entertainment sector, well-known active and former athletes as well as sports and fitness influencers initially compete against each other in two teams.

They must demonstrate strength, endurance and skill in various courses. Candidates are gradually eliminated. The last eight to ten participants then compete in individual competitions. They are then up for the title of “Exatlon Champion” and prize money.

They live together the whole time and are accompanied by cameras around the clock.

The show is accompanied by a presenter who explains and comments on the individual challenges. For the first German edition, Sport1 Jochen Stutzky Many people will know the 43-year-old as a football commentator. For the new format, he moved from the German football stadium to the Caribbean.
