New album from Linkin Park announced

In keeping with all of Linkin Park’s new beginnings – the tour and new members – an album was announced. “From Zero” is the title of the record, which will be released on November 15, 2024This is Linkin Park’s first album since 2017. One track from the new album has already been released: “The Emptiness Machine”. The album naturally features Linkin Park’s new voice.

In a statement on the flood of announcements, Mike Shinoda says of “From Zero”:

Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both that humble beginning and the journey we are currently on. Sonically and emotionally, it’s about the past, present and future – it encompasses our signature sound, but is new and full of life. It was created with a deep appreciation for our new and long-time bandmates, our friends, our family and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years and look forward to the journey ahead. (Source: Variety)

Before Linkin Park became Linkin Park, the band’s name was Xero. The album is intended to be a tribute to the group’s beginnings and to underline the band’s emotional and musical journey. The past, future and present should be felt in the sound of the new album.

But Shinoda also wants to ensure that long-time band members, fans, friends and family of Linkin Park get their money’s worth.
