On deadline day: Blau-Weiß loans player from Salzburg

Soumaïla Diabaté moved from FC Red Bull Salzburg to the blue and whites on loan until the end of the season. The 19-year-old midfielder joined Salzburg from Malian club Guidars FC in winter 2023. There he was a cooperation player at FC Liefering, where he played a total of 32 competitive games and scored two goals.

“We are very happy that we were able to secure additional reinforcement in central midfield with Soumaïla Diabaté from Red Bull Salzburg so close to the end. He will not only further stimulate competition, but also brings many important skills to our game.
