20-year-old killed in Dorr Street shooting, suspected shooter on the run

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – One person was killed in a shooting on Dorr Street in Toledo Wednesday evening, police said.

The shooting occurred at 9:51 p.m. on Sept. 4 in the 800 block of Dorr Street near Ewing Street. Police at the scene said 20-year-old Hahsaan Price was shot and later died from his injuries.

Investigators identified 40-year-old James Caulton Jr. as the shooter. There is a warrant out for Caulton’s arrest, but he is not in custody.

Charging documents say the two were arguing when Caulton pulled out a gun and shot Price multiple times.

Officials at the scene said two people were arrested for entering the crime scene, but one was released.
