WSG Tirol secured the services of Jaden Mazou Bambara on the last day of the summer transfer window. The 19-year-old offensive player was most recently under contract with runner-up SC Majestic in his home country of Burkina Faso.

The talent received a “long-term” contract with the Tyroleans. Formalities such as a visa and work permit still need to be clarified before he can play, the ninth-placed Bundesliga team announced on Thursday.

“With Jaden Mazou, an exciting player is joining our WSG. In the data scouting and the subsequent video study of his games, we were convinced of his potential to develop his full potential,” says coach Philipp Semlic, delighted with the new addition.

Bambara himself can hardly wait to play for WSG. “I am very happy to have signed my professional contract with WSG Tirol and am very excited at the thought of getting to know my new teammates and starting a new adventure with WSG,” said the offensive player.
