Volksbank meeting of TV Weilstetten: Top athletes back at the start

Numerous top athletes from the state have registered for the 41st Weilstetter Volksbank meeting, which will take place next Sunday at 12 noon in the Bizerba Arena. At the traditional event of TV Weilstetten, there are starting opportunities for U12 to U20 in over 75 competitions. Currently, just over 130 participants from 27 clubs are registered. Exciting competitions can be expected. The largest field of participants is registered in the female U12. In the youth category, the winner with the best daily performance will receive a cash prize.

Aaron Kommer (TB Tailfingen) is likely to win the throwing disciplines (javelin and shot put) in the men’s U20. In the women’s U20, Pia Schmidt-Rüdt (LG Welfen) is the favorite in all disciplines (100 meters, high jump and long jump, shot put, javelin). In the U18 boys’ 200 meters and in the high jump, Jannis Gartmann from the local TV Weilstetten, who is one of the country’s top athletes, should be unbeatable. Matteo Valenti (LG farbtex Nordschwarzwald) traveled to the Bizerba Arena with a best distance of over 50 meters in the javelin and is the favorite.

Local heroes at the forefront

Local hero and heptathlete Jule Trickel (TV Weilstetten) could become a triple winner in the long jump, shot put and javelin throw disciplines. Her teammate Indira Strobel could cross the finish line first in the 100 meters, and South German champion Larissa Klumpp (TSG Balingen) could do the same in the 200 meters.

In the M 15, Lenn Weinmann (LG Filder) is likely to take the top spot in the 100 meters and with the shot put. The Württemberg champion Camilo Arroyo Vogt (TV Weilstetten) is the favorite in the high jump. Top all-rounder Colin Hoch (TV Weilstetten) could be on the winners’ list four times in the M 14 (100 meters, long jump and shot put as well as over 300 meters in the M15).

Sonnenfroh as challenger

There are likely to be different winners per discipline in the W 15. Here, Pia Tebbe (SV Unterjesingen) in the 100 meters and long jump, Juli Mauch (TSV Rottweil) in the high jump and javelin, Teresie Hess (SG Schorndorf) in the 300 meters and with the shot put are the favorites. There could also be several double winners in the W 14: Alena Klein (LG Filder) in the 100 meters and long jump, Lisa Göhring (LAV Stadtwerke Tübingen) with the shot put and javelin.

Meanwhile, Kalle Ahsbahs (TV Oberhaugstett) could be the winner in the M 13 over 75 meters as well as in the high jump and long jump. Jona Vogt (TV 05 Friedingen) has the best results in the 800 meters and with the javelin. In the M 12, Samuel Gerber (LV Pliezhausen) is the slight favorite over 75 meters and with the javelin. Johannes Strobel (TV 05 Friedingen) should take the top spot in the high jump, Julian Gonser (LG Filder) in the long jump – although both should put up a good duel with Julian Sonnenfroh from the local TV Weilstetten.

Exciting competitions

In the W 13, Lara Schneider (TV Oberndorf) could be crowned winner in the 75 meters and long jump. Marie Sautter (TV Weilstetten) should be hard to beat in the high jump and javelin throw. In the same way, Anni Marcard (LV Pliezhausen) could prevail over the competition in the W 12 over 75 meters and in the long jump and high jump.

Laurenz Butz from the local TV Weilstetten is the top favorite in the M11. He will be hard to beat in the 50 meters and long jump. Mailo Sohmer (TuS Königsfeld) could beat him in the 800 meters and ball throw. Among the youngest participants in the M10, Weilstetten’s Max Neher has the best scores in all disciplines (50 meters, long jump, ball throw and 800 meters).

Many favorites

In the W 11 starting field, Alena Dekonti (TV Spaichingen, 50 meters), Jana Ganter (SG Schramberg, long jump) and Elisa Wallum (TV Oberndorf, ball throw) could share the victories among themselves. In the W10, there are also likely to be different winners per discipline: Polina Kivshar (TSV Dormettingen) over 50 meters, Lotta Stadelmann (TuS Königsfeld) over 800 meters, Melina DiDio Ragusa (SV Unterjesingen) in the long jump and Pauline Adolph (SG Schramberg) in the ball throw.
