Fortnite: Servers down for patch 31.10

In Fortnite, the servers were shut down for maintenance today, Wednesday, September 4th. New content will be available in the Marvel season. You can find out what you need to know about the downtime here.

Matchmaking has now been disabled. You have 30 minutes until the servers are disabled. Get ready.

Good morning! The servers will be shut down at 10:00 a.m. German time and matchmaking will be deactivated at 9:30 a.m.

What happens with patch 31.10? Today Epic Games is shutting down the servers for maintenance. You won’t be able to play Fortnite during the downtime, so be prepared for that too.

Fortnite: Start and duration of server down

Server down in the morning – what you need to know: Epic Games has announced its server downtime for Fortnite and set it at 10:00 a.m. German time. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before the server is shut down – so you will no longer be able to start rounds at this new time.

When will the servers be back online? This depends on the size and scope of the update. If there are no problems, you can expect a two-hour downtime. However, it could also be that the server is not down until around 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. We will keep you updated in this case.

When will the patch notes be released? Epic Games is currently only sporadically releasing its patch notes for the “Battle Royale” mode. If they are available, they will only be published after the downtime. We will let you know the patch notes as soon as Epic Games makes them available.
