Topgolf in Oberhausen starts NFL party with big screen

Oberhausen. A new event will premiere on Sunday at Topgolf next to the Centro Oberhausen. Football fans can watch “NFL Sunday Live” for free.

Popular sporting events are known to be more fun with like-minded people – just like watching football in a group. That’s why the leisure provider Topgolf showed all the matches on a big screen in its bar during the European Football Championship in Germany. On Sunday, September 8th, the organizers swapped the round ball for the oval ball. The first “NFL Sunday Live” event started next to the Centro Oberhausen for the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants.

The term tailgate is derived from the tailgate of an American pickup car.

The organizers want to have a DJ play music, set up beer pong, set up cornhole games and install NFL throwing nets for the Minnesota Vikings football match against the New York Giants. Topgolf will broadcast the game in its bar on a 34 square meter video screen that can be viewed on two floors. Other football matches from the American sports channel Redzone will be shown simultaneously on smaller screens.

Fans can watch the NFL game without paying an entrance fee. So-called watch tickets can be reserved on the Topgolf website. Anyone who wants to enjoy BBQ food pays 19 euros per person. However, this option can only be booked on site on the day of the event.
