In ihren Filmrollen “haben sie mit ganz normalen Problemen zu kämpfen, als sie plötzlich durch ein mysteriöses Portal in die Overworld gezogen werden: ein bizarres, kubisches Wunderland, das von der Fantasie lebt”, verrät die Videobeschreibung of the teaser.

Dort tritt das Quartett angeblich gegen “Minecraft”-typische Bösewichte wie Piglins oder Zombies an – und treffen dabei auf einen Handwerker namens Steve, played by Jack Black. The clip naturally leaves open how their journey will progress. Clarity should be achieved by April 3, 2025 at the latest, when “A Minecraft Movie” hits the big screen in Germany.
