Xiaomi is expected to launch its new smartphone Xiaomi 15 Ultra in January next year. The new smartphone has been making headlines due to speculations about the much-awaited camera upgrades. Technology magazine Smartprix along with informant Kartikey recently reported on the expected upgrades for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Here’s a closer look at all of them.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra expected camera upgrades

The upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone is expected to come with an upgraded Sony LYT-900 sensor. The sensor upgrade is expected to improve the upcoming smartphone’s performance in low-light conditions.

Apart from the sensor, the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra model is expected to get an improved Cinema mode for video recording. The mode already exists on the previous model Xiaomi 14 Ultra, but with the limitation that only 1080p video recording is supported. However, it is speculated that this will change as the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra model is likely to get an improved Cinema mode that could enable 4K video recording. In addition, it is speculated that the slow motion feature will also be improved.

The upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to feature a 50MP front camera for taking selfies. This is a major speculated upgrade as the previous model featured a 32MP selfie camera.
