Union Berlin signs national player Gosens’ replacement!

Berlin – Surprise after deadline day: Union Berlin has signed Danish international player Robert Skov (28).

As the Iron Ones announced on Wednesday, the midfielder moved to the Alte Försterei with immediate effect.

If you are now wondering how this is even possible after the transfer window had already closed on August 30th: the 28-year-old was actually still without a club!

“Robert is an interesting and flexible player. His technical skills are also not something you see very often,” said Union manager Horst Heldt (54) about the successful deal.

His advantage is that he already knows the league well and can therefore certainly help the team quickly. “We are happy that he is now part of the team.”

This means that the Berliners are once again reacting late to the Lightning exit from Robin Gosens (30), who moved to AC Florence on Deadline Day.
