EA Sports FC 25 Icons Revealed

EA has introduced 8 new icons for the upcoming EA Sports FC 25. MeinMMO shows you which legends were presented.

What are icons in EA Sports FC 25? Icons are special cards made for former players who have become legends in football history. These usually have good stats and are therefore useful for your Ultimate Team.

Eight new icons were presented today, September 3rd, 2024, for EA Sports FC 25, which will find their way into the game with the release in September. A German legend is particularly exciting, as he has the highest rating of the 8 new icons.

A German goalkeeper legend at the top

What new icons were introduced? EA has released a new video on YouTube introducing the 8 new icons. The top player is German goalkeeper Nadine Angerer with a rating of 92. She won the World Cup twice and the European Championship five times with the German team during her career.

Just below her is the Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon with a rating of 91. He is an iconic player who played professionally for 28 years. As captain of the Italian national team, Buffon won the World Cup in 2006. He played over 750 games in professional football and was the long-time regular goalkeeper for Italian record champions Juventus Turin.

Another exciting candidate is Gareth Bale, who has a rating of 88. The fan favourite comes from Wales and played for the Welsh national team between 2006 and 2022. There he holds the record for most goals from Wales with 41 goals in 111 appearances. He reached the peak of his career at Real Madrid, when he won the Champions League alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
