Tennis News: Sinner and Medvedev play for semifinals at US Open

Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev meet at the US Open In the quarter-final duel between two title candidates. The party takes place on Thursday night German time at the Grand Slam tournament in New York under floodlights.

The world’s number one sinner from Italy was able to secure his first Grand Slam title in the final of the Australian Open against Medvedev at the end of January. In the quarter-finals of Wimbledon this year, however, the Russian prevailed.

In the first match of the night session, world number one Iga Swiatek from Poland will face American Jessica Pegula. The quarterfinals will begin at 1:00 a.m. German time (7:00 p.m. local time/Wednesday).
