The Anderson Raptors were Division II semifinalists in 2023 and started the 2024 season with two crucial wins. Senior tight end Caden Piening is helping Anderson dominate another season.

Piening received offers from Florida, Michigan State, Louisville, Indiana, Texas A&M and others before deciding on the University of Central Florida in April.

Who is UCF commit Caden Piening?

Piening is a 6’5″, 250-pound tight end who also played on the defensive line in previous seasons.

Piening has been active at Anderson since his sophomore year, when he caught nine passes, including five touchdowns. As a junior in 2023, Piening caught 35 passes for 624 yards and five touchdowns before catching three passes for 78 yards and a touchdown this season as Anderson outscored opponents 103-13.

Recruiting site 247Sports lists Piening as a three-star recruit and the No. 24 player in Ohio for the 2025 class. Piening is also the No. 35 tight end in the nation for his class.
