Vivo’s T3 Ultra coming soon to India; high-end features at a price under one lakh

Vivo is gearing up to unveil its new T3 Ultra model in India, although an official announcement is yet to be made. Leaks and certification listings have given us a sneak peek of what the T3 Ultra could offer, and suggest significant improvements over the recently launched T3 Pro 5G. This new model is expected to stand out as a more advanced option in Vivo’s mid-range lineup.

According to reports, the Vivo T3 Ultra could launch in India in September this year. An exact date has not been confirmed yet, but the launch is expected to take place in the first few weeks of the month. This timing is part of Vivo’s strategy to strengthen its position in the highly competitive mid-range smartphone market.

The pricing of the Vivo T3 Ultra has also been announced. The entry-level model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is expected to cost around Rs 30,999. There will also be higher-end versions: the 8GB + 256GB model could cost Rs 32,999, and the 12GB + 256GB variant could cost Rs 34,999. This puts the T3 Ultra in direct competition with other notable devices, including Vivo’s own Zeiss Optics-equipped Vivo 40, and gives consumers a range of choices.

Under the hood, the T3 Ultra is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, which should deliver strong performance for a mid-range device. It is expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and efficient handling of demanding apps. The phone is likely to feature a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and is expected to reach a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, offering vivid and clear visuals even in bright conditions.

For photography enthusiasts, the Vivo T3 Ultra is rumored to have a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 16MP front camera, promising high-quality photos and versatile shooting options. Additionally, the phone is said to have a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, which should enable quick charging.

To increase the robustness of the Vivo T3 Ultra, it is expected to have an IP68 rating that protects it against dust and water. With its combination of advanced features and a competitive price, the Vivo T3 Ultra is a compelling choice for those looking for a powerful mid-range smartphone.
