Drugstore chain launches an AI chatbot

dm-Kundinnen und -Kunden, die ein Online-Konto beim Drogeriemarkt besitzen, erhalten dieser Tage Post. Per E-Mail informiert das Unternehmen über Neuerungen und geänderte Nutzungsbedingungen, die ab 1. Oktober 2024 gelten. Aus dem Schreiben geht hervor, dass ein KI-Chatbot is in progress and “My dm account” will become “dm account” in the future. Another change affects users who have not used their account for at least two years. These accounts will be deleted via DM. To prevent this, those affected should log in once by the end of September.

Eine Zustimmung zu den geänderten Nutzungsbedingungen ist nicht erforderlich. Nur wer widersprechen will, muss das bis 30. September 2024 dem Unternehmen schriftlich per Post oder E-Mail mitteilen. Dann löscht dm das Konto.
